Elle Overly of Lititz won the 15th Peggy Kirk Bell Junior Golf Tournament Prep Preview Division last week at Pine Needles Lodge and Golf Club in Southern Pines, North Carolina.
Overly, a junior at Warwick High School, shot 77-77-151 for a three-shot victory over runner-up Adelyn Rosado of Cary, N.C.
Pine Needles has hosted the U.S. Women’s Open four times, most recently in 2022.
Overly won the Lancaster-Lebanon League title last fall, finished second in the District Three tournament and ninth in the PIAA Class AAA state tournament. She had the league’s lowest girls’ scoring average, 72.2.
