Four Lancaster-Lebanon League field hockey players were named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association All-Region team for Pennsylvania.
Brenna Campagna of Manheim Township and Tristan Groff of Penn Manor were named to the first team, while Brooke Weaver of Manheim Township and Addy Zimmerman of Warwick were named to the second team.
Campagna, a senior headed to Wake Forest, led the Blue Streaks with 19 goals and had 15 assists as Manheim Township won its first ever L-L and District Three championships, along with making the PIAA Class 3A finals for the first time.
Among the highlights this season for Campagna were two goals scored in the state semifinals, a 7-0 win over Warwick, and two goals scored in a 2-2 tie against Class 2A district champ and state finalist Palmyra.
Weaver led Manheim Township with 25 assists, including the assist on the game-winning goal in a 2-1 overtime win over Lower Dauphin in the district championship game. Weaver, a junior, also scored 15 goals, including a hat trick in the state semifinal win.
Groff was named to the first team for the second consecutive year, as she was the only L-L player so honored in 2022. She signed her letter of intent to play at St. Joseph’s earlier this month, after helping the Comets to a third-place finish in District Three and an appearance in the PIAA quarterfinals. She scored one of the goals in Penn Manor’s 4-1 first-round win over Pine Richland.
Zimmerman, a junior, helped Warwick make its run to the state final four with three goals and seven assists this season. The Warriors were in the L-L finals and placed fourth in District Three.
Out of 27 total all-stars — 16 on the first team and 11 on the second team — 10 players receiving NFHCA’s honors played for District Three schools.
Senior Teams
The NFHCA also announced its college Senior Teams last week, with a handful of L-L alumni being honored.
Mackenzie Allessie, a Donegal grad, made the Division I team after scoring nine goals and having five assists for Penn State this fall. She was 3-for-3 on penalty strokes. She finished her collegiate career with 30 goals and 35 assists.

Manheim Central’s Maddie Barbush scored two goals and had four assists for national finalist East Stroudsburg. Though she started 59 games in her career, those were her only two goals for the Warriors, who lost 2-1 to Kutztown in the title game.
Penn Manor alum Bri Harsh scored two goals and tallied five assists in 17 games at Millersville.
In Division III, Warwick grad Catie Brubaker made the Senior Team after posting six shutouts and a save percentage of .750 for Messiah. She had a 14-2 record for the Falcons this year and a career record of 46-8.
