CHAD UMBLE | Staff WriterShoe retailer Cole Haan has opened a new store at Tanger Outlets in East Lampeter Township.
At the Route 30 shopping center, Cole Haan takes a 2,500-square-foot spot next to Levi’s Outlet at the back of Tanger. Cole Haan sells a variety of shoes for men, women and children, including loafers, sandals, sneakers and heels as well as bags and sunglasses.
Founded in Chicago in 1929, the company originally only sold men’s clothing. Once owned by Nike, Cole Haan is now owned by private equity firm Apax Partners Worldwide. Cole Hann operates some 500 stores worldwide and also sells through some department stores.
