Giving Thanks

As the year 2022 is winding down, it’s good to take time to look back and give thanks. It’s been another strong year for home sellers and another competitive year for homebuyers.

The rise in mortgage interest rates has cooled our local market a bit. However, for properly priced listings, the norm is still multiple offers that are above asking price.

While our market still qualifies as a seller’s market, the current buyers are enjoying less competition and more stabilized pricing. Changes in real estate are normal, and I look forward to navigating whatever 2023 brings!

To my clients, please know that I am grateful for both your business and your friendship. Year after year, the majority of my business comes from my past clients and community friendships. I’ve enjoyed the thrill of helping many of you purchase your first home, buy your dream home, sell your last home, sell the family estate or help your children buy their first home! Thank you for putting your trust in me — it is valued.

I’m thankful to have a job that I truly enjoy — what a gift! I give thanks for the key partnerships that I’ve developed over the years with caring, trustworthy mortgage loan officers, title companies, attorneys, handymen, painters, home stagers, flooring specialists, electricians and plumbers, just to name a few. I’m thankful for the excellent services that these experts provide for my clients and me. I’m thankful for the support of my Berkshire Hathaway real estate team, my sweet family, my friends, and my God and Savior.

As we fast approach my favorite holiday of Thanksgiving, may you find reasons to be thankful every day.
