Eight players and one coach from the Lancaster-Lebanon League will be participating in the annual PSFCA East-West All-Star games in May.

Five players were selected for the Small School game, three players were selected for the Big School game, and Lancaster Catholic coach Chris Maiorino will serve as an assistant — all representing the East squad.

In the Big School game, Manheim Township wideout Nick Palumbo, Penn Manor defensive end Dhamir Wesley (Villanova) and Twin Valley offensive lineman Paul McClune (Navy) are on the roster.

And in the Small School game, Berks Catholic teammates Owen Reber and Joey Polinsky (Cornell), both offensive linemen, Wyomissing teammates Drew Forrey, at linebacker, and Ryker Jones (Princeton), at running back, and Annville-Cleona kicker Mina Elzek (Seton Hill) are on the roster, with Maiorino on the coaching staff.

The Big School East coach is Central Bucks East skipper John Donnelly; the Small School East coach is Pottsville Nativity’s Pat Mason. Maiorino is on his staff.

The games are set for Sunday, May 19 at Cumberland Valley’s Chapman Field, which will host the Big 33 a week later. The Small School game will start at noon, followed by the Big School game at 5 p.m.
