• Southern Lancaster County Farmers-Sportsmen's Association: A trap shoot will be held from 2-7 p.m. every Tuesday at the club, 742 Hollow Road, New Providence. Open to the public and members, each round is $5 and consists of 25 shots (five shots from each position). • Southern Lancaster County Farmers-Sportsmen's Association: Indoor archery will be held from 6-9 p.m. every Tuesday at the clubhouse, 742 Hollow Road, New Providence. Open to the public and members. Bring you own equipment (no crossbows). The club will provide targets. The cost is $5. Free for those under 18.

WEDNESDAY, MAY 8

• Columbia Fish and Game: The club, at 4339 Fairview Road, Columbia, will hold weekly public trap shoots from 6-8 p.m. each Wednesday. The range consists of three well-illuminated trap fields. • Lancaster County Bird Club: Meet at 7 a.m. at Susquehannock State Park Overlook off of 1880 Park Dr., Drumore. The field trip will begin at the Susquehanna River overlook at the far end of the park, which is just past the main parking lot and senior parking area. We will view birds moving up and down the river, and some stopping near the overlook. Then watch late spring migrants and other birds which nest in the park. • Lancaster County Sportsmen for Youth: The organization will hold its 29th annual Youth Field Day at the Southern Lancaster County Farmer-Sportsmen's Association at 742 Hollow Rd. New Providence, PA 17560. Those attending will have instruction and/or participation in a variety of outdoor activities, including archery, canoeing, fishing/fly fishing, muzzle loading, .22 rifle, trapping, trap shooting, turkeys, Waterfowl, and a Pennsylvania Game Commission presentation. The event is free for kids 10-15 and all attendees will receive a free lunch. All gear will be provided. Parents can accompany their kids, but it's not necessary.
