I read the article about a motorist shooting a bicyclist in a road rage incident (“DA says March shooting justified,” April 13 LNP | LancasterOnline) and the May 5 "Lancaster Watchdog" article “Cyclists and motorists can share the road.”

There are so many problems today. War and humanitarian catastrophes in the Middle East and Africa, plastic pollution, climate change and immigration issues are just a few.

On behalf of Embrace, we would like to commend LNP Media Group for a good thing that it has done — namely, a full-page color display stating “Love Thy Neighbor. Hate Has No Place Here,” in the March 26 LNP | LancasterOnline, and a smaller display in the April 18 Balance magazine.

I was heartened by the comments in the April 30 LNP | LancasterOnline letter “Protests have become misdirected” indicating that Jewish Americans are not responsible for what is happening in Israel’s war in Gaza.

I haven’t been myself lately. It seems that everywhere I turn, I see more and more things that aren’t how they used to be anymore.
